Community Seder

 celebrate Passover with us at

Our Community Seder for Pesach 5778

Friday 30th March (first night of Pesach), 6.15pm for a prompt start at 6.30pm.

We will have allocated seats this year. Please come in time to find yours. We are streamlining things so as to finish earlier, so please help by coming in good time.

The seder will be held at Marchmont St Giles Church Centre, 1a Kilgraston Road, EH9 2DW, and will be catered and served by Butterflies Catering. Your ticket includes a three-course meal (fish or vegetarian), kiddush wine, and soft drinks. You may, if you wish, bring your own table wine to have with the meal.


The Church Centre is fully accessible with suitable wheelchair-accessible facilities.

Cost - Adult Members £17 each - Children of Members £8 each

 Adult non-Members £25 each - Children of non-Members £12 each

The Seder will led by our Rabbi, Mark Solomon using the Liberal Haggadah B’Chol Dor Va’Dor. Many of you will have a copy from last year. Haggadot will be available to purchase at £8.50 each at the Seder or you can borrow one for the evening (suggested donation £1).

If you are booking from outside the UK, and so cannot post the form easily, please also include the information requested on the form in your email and we will advise you how to pay.


If the cost would be a hardship, please let us know when you book or by leaving a message on the community phone (0131 777 8024). We will be in touch to make an arrangement in complete confidence. No members should be prevented from attending by being unable to meet the cost.
