UK Jewish Film is screening British Jewish Life on Film, a selection of short films including Beshert about “a curmudgeonly old man” in a Leeds care home and his unlikely friendship with a teenager being forced to do work experience, and To Fly Or Float, which is set in Birmingham during the Winter of Discontent.

Additionally, two executives from UK Jewish Film are coming to Glasgow to research the commissioning of a 2026 film. There will be a special storytelling event before the abovementioned screening (from 6pm till 7pm in the same venue) for community members to contribute their stories.
