5th-11th May, Scotland-wide
Demystifying Death Week is an awareness week about giving ordinary people the knowledge, skills and opportunities to plan and support each other through death, dying, loss and care.
The awareness week was initiated by Good Life, Good Death, Good Grief, but the week is collaborative. Organisations, community groups, and individuals all across Scotland put on activities and events that are meaningful and relevant to them. These can be anything from film screenings, death cafes, and information sessions to live music performances, shared meals, and crafting workshops. Most of these events are open to the public, and all of them are free.
