1st March, 3pm, venue upon sign-up
Like previous years, cheder and the wider Sukkat Shalom community will have our Purim party together. Please join us at 3pm for
games, crafts, hamentaschen eating, and lots of other Purim fun! All are welcome to bring hamentaschen or another snack for sharing. It’s a mitzvah to make noise, so we’ll be making rattles out of paper plates. And of course all attendees are invited to wear fancy dress!
At 4, we’ll have a mishlochey manot raffle and a megillah reading with Rabbi Mark, followed by a fun purimspiel. If you are interested in a role in the megillah reading or in the purimspiel, please send Mor a WhatsApp message or email mor.kandlik@gmail.com.
As we did last year, we’ll have a big mishlochey manot exchange. These are individual parcels of treats that can include several sweet and savoury treats – maybe include your favourite family snacks or some hamentaschen. Please bring one for each participating person, everyone is welcome. We’ll draw names from a hat so everyone who brings a mishloach manot will get a random one in return!
Please could all food that’s brought, including that in the mishloach manot be vegetarian and nut free.
