The Parents Circle Family Forum is one of our chosen Kol Nidre charities this year. They are an organisation of Palestinians and Jewish Israelis who have lost close family members and now work together for a just peace.
Their webinar for International Women’s Day is called Voices of Pain and Hope from Gaza and hosts Palestinian bereaved women from Gaza and an Israeli peace and human rights activist. They write:
In the midst of another frightening and painful war, we do not forget what is happening in Gaza. Since the ceasefire, hundreds of Palestinians have been killed, and Gaza’s residents continue to live in fear, destruction, loss, scarcity, and suffering – conditions that have intensified since the beginning of the war with Iran.
In this harsh reality, Palestinian women – despite the profound losses they have endured – demonstrate strength and resilience. They serve as pillars for their families and communities, while continuing to send a message of hope for a better future. In this webinar, we will hear their stories.
