4th October, 4pm, Greyfriar’s Kirk, EH1 2QQ
Greyfriars continue their partnership with Edinburgh Interfaith Association for a fourth year to expand this long-standing ceremony to include representatives from all faiths and none, as well as fundraise for Edinburgh Dog and Cat Home.
All Edinburgh locals are welcome with their pets and in 2023, a full-grown horse attended the service, surprising and delighting the participants. The service will be followed by an animal parade through Greyfriars Kirkyard, and will conclude with a laying of a wreath at the grave of Greyfriars Bobby and a tea and coffee reception inside the Kirk.
